He cherished his garden and his profession as a teacher. He liked to share stories from his childhood. And he loved his wife, his children, and grandchildren....

I remember that there used to be a tent camp in the hill below our vineyard. Tents, meadow, children, food, and swimming in the reservoir. My grandfather sat down below the hill, by the road, and sold them peaches from the vineyard. The tent camp is no longer there....
