Autumn Deer

Painting using the technique of overlaying various stencils fascinated me so much that I wanted to create a series of paintings on the theme of the four seasons. I decided to start with the autumn forest, where it is bursting with autumn colors and where the dominant figure is the deer, which is also associated with autumn. However, as I was creating the painting, it just didn’t feel quite right. Maybe it was the smaller format I chose, and also the image of the deer with antlers was already quite cliché… I don’t know. For a moment, the idea of a deer – the patronus from Harry Potter, inspired me. But overall, I have mixed feelings about the result…
